Why not a little Mario this time? Here's a look at the big stories making headlines this Tuesday in football: 1. Villa striker Darren Bent could join Tier 2 side Brighton & Hove Albion on load as he is unable to get playing time under current manager Paul Lambert. Herrera & Evans for Manchester United played a reserve match today are looking to be back to full fitness. Liverpool are looking to sign three players for £47 million, one of which includes Chelsea #2 Petr Cech. Wesley Sneijder is reported to be a transfer target for Manchester United after he was not included in Galatasaray's latest fixture. (Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/412206/Wesley-Sneijder-snubbed-by-Galatasaray) My Thoughts: 1. I can see this move happening but I don't know why as only Abonglahor & Weimann have scored for Villa and they could use the finish touch that Bent has. 2. Would be a good signing for Hull but I don't see him coming cheaply. 3. Good news for Manchester United. More in terms of Herrera and not Evans, but a good sign none-the-less. 4. Liverpool's interest in Martinez & Redmond is an encouraging sign. Mignolet is a class keeper though and they don't need Cech. 5. Sneijder is good but not good enough to go to Man United and certainly not good enough to replace van Persie if reports are true that he will be leaving.
