What and when to eat a pre-race or workout meal
Waking up early I,m normally not hungry and just want that morning cup of coffee but on workout mornings I've used the 3 hour pre-race meal suggestion by Hammer Nutrition with measurable success. I no longer just through down a cup of coffee and a quick snack before bolting out the door and jumping on my bike for a good workout because the results would be less than.
Interesting, I might have to give this a try. My biggest gripe with coffee is that I usually end up having to go to the bathroom...hahah!
