Headbands are my favorite holiday to-go pieces. They keep hair away from my face and quickly polishes my whole outfit. Instead of ribbon headband I love embellished headband. The gorgeous pieces shown in the photos are Swarovski Crsystal Headbands designed by Oscar de la Renta. Love the look? Here's how you can make it any embellished headband a statement piece paired with your holiday wardrobe. Style 1: The Classic Romantic Make a center part and loosely curl hair outward with a 1 inch straightner. Bring hair to the nape of the neck, secure in a loose pony tail and braid from the base to ends. Wrap braid around the base of the ponytail and pin in place. Finish with a firm-hold hair spray and the headband. Style 2: The Edgy Glam Create a side part and smooth hair with shine-enhancing styling cream. Curl hair with a 1 inch straightner (skip if you have natural curly hair). Make sure all curls go in the same direction. With a boar brush, gently comb out curls starting at the bottom and working your way to the top. In sections, back comb to push curls up and add fullness at the ends. Finish with a strong-hold hair spray and style with the headband. Style 3: The Bold Chic Give some texture all over your hair with a 1 inch straightner. Use a texturizing spray to create volume and finish by tousling ends with a light pomade. Finally position the headband and spray loose ends in place. Style 4: The Sweet Princess Prep the hair with a volumizing dry shampoo to maximize texture. Tease at the crown and gently smooth the top layer. Braid hair to one side, pin any loose ends and spritz with a strong-hold finishing spray. Accessorize with the head band. Let me know how you style with headband by sharing below!
