How to back up your Windows 8 computer
Backing up your files is one of the most important things you could do when owning a computer. It's better to be safe than sorry. Windows 8 no longer has "Backup and Restore". Now it is called File History...where files are being backed up automatically when your external drive is connected. When backing up your windows computer, you should turn on file history and create a backup system image. A system image is a copy of the drives required for Windows to run. It can be used to restore your computer if your hard drive or computer stops working. I attached a great tutorial for File history setup, and here are the basic steps 1. Open Control Panel 2. Under System and Security, select "Save backup copies of your files with File History" 3. Connect your external drive or disk 4. Click "Turn On" to turn on file history and select drive if you don't have a backup drive already.

Although I am an iOS user I just wanted to stress the need for back up files. I have 2 physical and one cloud backups and I still don't feel safe! I might be going overboard though :D
