Just when you think you haven't heard enough of "Let It Go" (okay, so maybe you have) - talk is already starting about a sequel to Disney's super-hit Frozen. I mean, even my 3-year-old son loved it, and his previous favorites all involve many, many wheels. There aren't a lot of details out there, but I just came across an article in which Idina Menzel, who voices Queen Elsa and sang that now-famous song in the movie, confirms that Frozen 2 is "in the works," along with a stage adaptation. Actually, the first thing I'm wondering about when I see that is whether there will be any reference by Disney in the sequel to the "Frozen" storyline being very deeply developed on the TV series Once Upon a Time. It's not necessarily a direct crossover, so they have no obligation to, and Once Upon a Time has an older audience. Nevertheless, I certainly hope they will consider it! I have to say, though, that most of the development on OUAT has to do with their family history, as well as with their interactions with some of the other characters of the show. I really enjoyed the first movie and its focus on sisterhood and woman saving themselves for once - but honestly I'm having a hard time thinking of things I'd like to see happen in a sequel. What would you like to see out of Frozen 2? Give me some speculations in the comments!
Are You Ready for the Next "Frozen"?
@sanityscout Yep!!! It's suspected that Anna's parents were on their way to none other than Rapunzel's wedding when they passed. Disney did officialy announce that the two are cousins; you can even see Rapunzel (and Flynn!) briefly in Frozen
Somehow, I doubt that we'll see any reference to the OUAT world of Frozen (pretty sure they intend to keep their 'worlds' pretty separate!) but I am curious as to what will happen in round two. If I can have another full scene with the cousins (aka Anna and Rapunzel from Tangled), then I will be content no matter what happens
