Mario Balotelli is back at it again. The striker was under investigation today for a possibly anti-semetic post (or rather re-post) on his Instagram account earlier in the week. Yesterday the striker, who is still without a goal in the Premier League after 14 games from Liverpool, was charged formally by the FA. Now we play the waiting game while the FA investigate further and decide whether or not to fine or even suspend the striker for a number of games but one thing is for sure, history is not on his side.
News: Balotelli Charged by The FA
@Goyo Even then they still get off scott free. Ray Lewis anyone? @MereChridKang Pardon if you find it offensive as I certainly did but the picture he re-posted said: "Don't be racist. Be like Mario. He's an Italian plumber, made by the Japanese, who speaks English, looks Mexican, jumps like a black man, and grabs coins like a Jew."
I sometimes really hate reading sports news for this reason. Professional athletes just continue to show how they think they are above the code of decency... I just don't get it. They feel like they should continued to be loved (and are) just because they can put a ball through a net, no matter what they do. This is why I prefer watching the local "bad" players who are decent people and truly care about playing the game
@Goyo Agree. I follow the FA Cup and lower leagues in England too for this reason. All of Wimbledon, Worcester City, & FC United of Manchester. These stars, it's like they NEVER went through like 1st grade sometimes. Balotelli has long been a problem. He's running himself out of Europe to be honest.
