Here's a continuation of the holiday tech series. If you're wondering which laptops are good this season, then I hope you find this helpful. They are not in a particular order. 1. MacBook Air ( Mac enthusiasts, you probably don't need to even think this one through. The MacBook Air laptop is famous for it's slim size and easy portability. It's no wonder why it is such a popular laptop. It offers powerful performance and great battery life for a steep price...but the price is worth it. 2. Toshiba's Chromebook 2 ( Not only is this chromebook cheap, but it is known for having great battery life. With 2GB of RAM and a 16 GB SSD, this 13.3" laptop is a bargain for being less than $300. 3. Samsung's Chromebook ( This is another chromebook that is affordable and portable. It has 4GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD. It's only a little over $300. 4. Acer's C720 Chromebook - Core i3 ( Acer is one of the fastest Chromebooks out there because of its processor. Other chromebooks have processors that are for lighter tasks, but if you want a more powerful chromebook this is the one. 5. HP Stream ( One of cheapest full featured laptops out there. Starting at only $200, this laptop is a great deal for people who want a computer that is good for light work. 6. Lenevo IdeaPad Yoga 2 ( This laptop is more on the high end in the the Ultrabook spectrum. Not only is the screen able to flex, but it also has a great display. The battery is not so great, but for presentation it is a great choice. 7. Asus Transformer Book T100 ( If you want a laptop that is able to transform into a tablet, this Asus is a good option. It's not too expensive either (under $400). 8. Dell XPS 13 ( This laptop is on the pricier side, but it is a great portable. high-end ultrabook that has a great screen and fast performance. Are there any laptops you would add to this list? For example, I didn't add any gaming laptops. I'd love to know, share it in the comments below.
I am just wondering what is the best laptop for someone who needs to do a lot of traveling, and needs just presentation and data related capabilities for work related things?
Are the chromebooks essentially portable google drive computers?
@Goyo Out of these, probabably the Air because of battery life. The lenevo and dell would be good ultrabook options. I wouldn't choose a chromebook unless you are only using Google Apps
