Good News: Google is simplifying reCAPTCHA!

I admit, I'm not a huge fan of CAPTCHAs, even though I understand they are important for security reasons. In a way, I am so unappreciative. However, Google is improving CAPTCHAs, which is great news. For those of you who don't know CAPTCHA stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computer and Humans Apart". Many of you have encountered them when signing up or logging into different accounts online. CAPTCHA has been effective for blocking spammers and bots, but these sources have gotten more advanced, so CAPTCHA has been remodeled. Google recently announced that their "No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA" that will be able to confirm if a user is a human or bot without having to input a code from a picture. All you will have to do is check a box next to it, and if the user is suspicious, they will be asked a distorted text puzzle or an animal matching test if they are on a mobile device (see slide #2). This No CAPTCHA update is already being used on Wordpress, Snapchat, and Humble Bundle. What do you think of this new service? I'm curious about what is being done in the backend for this to work. If you want to get reCAPTCHA for your app or website, follow this link: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

Awesome! I'm confused about how a system like this can be implemented just on the logistic scale, but I think this is both a great (and scary) development by Google.
@hikaymm, I agree, definitely makes you wonder how their algorithm works...but we probably will never know! The only way would be if we try to hack it...haha
