It's party season and while I have all social gathering outfits ready to go, there's one that requires planning: the office holiday outfit. I want to show off my sartorial skills, but needs to balance festive and professional. With that said, I found a few looks that efficiently transitions from desk-to-party. 1. Classic long sleeve with tartan pattern pencil skirt. A trench coat or bomber jacket will do the work. 2. Keeping it steady with a black top and skirt. I love how the quilted flare skirt add some dimension to the outfit. 3. Tartan shirt, beige coat and pumps. It's causal and modest enough for a office gathering. 4. The block skirt and black top alone would look like a typical office attire. A statement necklace would complete the festive style. 5. Leopard print in the office is possible as long as the fierceness is toned down. A leather jacket or a tailer black blazer will keep the whimsical yet professional look. Which one is your favorite? Whenever the winter comes, I start incorporating a lot of dark reds and jewel tones into my work outfits. I have red cardigans and black and white plaids that just won't quit. ;)
@danidee Same here. Winter is the only time I bring out my reds and plaids. It goes too well with the season.
You can't go wrong with the tartan pencil skirt! Love the outfit.
