Can i say bumpy ride?
Not liking that flat spot too much. Looks like he slides on the same part of the wheel every time

Once you start a Flatspot, it just keeps wearing that one area down unless you fix yourself quick. 1. Don't go at an exact 90 degree angle. Thats like the best way to prevent a Flatspot.

yeah, exactly what @steezus said. The flat spot just provides a flat surface that wont move, so everytime you pull a 90°, the wheel will lock up in the same position
