Rubber side up! At least that's what they say when you are going to eat it in a cyclocross race. Essentially it means your bike is upside down and the tires are no longer are on the ground. Barriers pose a particular threat in going rubber side up, many think they can just bunny hop over. The best option is to jump off your bike, hop the barrier, and jump back on the bike.
