How to Make Bicerin: The Coffee Drink of Your Dreams!

If you want a beverage that is both chocolately and coffee based, and also incorporates a strong hint of alcohol, this might be the beverage for you! It's a coffee-chocolate-cream concoction that was created in Italy's chocolate capital, Turin. The drinks name comes from the Caffe al Bicerin, and that's where the name comes from! It didn't specifically have booze from the beginning, but when you're looking for a hot winter treat, I think it's completely acceptable to add the alcohol! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Recipe by Chow: Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces freshly made espresso 1 1/2 ounces freshly made hot chocolate 1 1/2 ounces heavy cream *For a spiked variation, add 1 1/2 ounces Patrón XO Café or other coffee-flavored liqueur to the hot chocolate before adding it's layer! 1. Place a cocktail shaker in the freezer until well chilled, at least 10 minutes. 2. Fill a large heatproof glass with very hot tap water and set aside. 3. To serve, empty the glass and dry it out. 4. Layer the ingredients in the glass by placing the shot of espresso in the bottom and then, while slightly tilting the glass, slowly pouring in the hot chocolate. 5. Remove the shaker from the freezer, add the cream, and shake vigorously until frothy, at least 20 times. 6. Spoon the shaken cream on top of the hot chocolate and serve immediately. In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, here is a deliciously fun way to get your chocolate chip cookie fix during happy hour: Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot Glasses! And in case you think I am making this holiday up, you can find it , and a ton of other national holidays that will blow your mind at National Day Calendar online. This 4 1/2 star recipe comes from All Recipes user, Nicole Faust Hunt, called "Absolutely The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies." To make the shot glasses, you will need a 'popover' pan. Otherwise, you can make these using small cupcake pans. However, the shape of the glass will not look like a shot glass. Ingredients: 1 cup butter flavored shortening (not butter) 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons Mexican vanilla extrac t2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk chocolate chips Chocolate candy melts (for later) Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter flavored shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla .Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Press the cookie dough into the popover pan bottom and sides. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Separately, melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave or a double boiler. Once the cookie shot glasses have cooled, spoon in the candy melts, covering the bottom and inside cookie walls. This will harden relatively quick, or you can put it in the fridge. This coating will prevent liquids from being absorbed into the cookie. Japanese Sake Has Amazing Benefits For Your Skin
No worries, you won't get tipsy. If you enjoy a few shots of sake every now and then, you'll be excited to know that the warm drink actually has some amazing benefits when it comes to your skin. So it's takin just a little under 2 weeks to get my coffee in and super excited!! A little while ago I was searching for coffee flavors and came across this site. low and behold I ended up getting a bunch, (First order of 25 or more and you get 5 dollars off, 35 or more is free shipping,) needless to say I got a variety of samplers and bags of coffee. Banana Foster Float German chocolate Maple Bacon Morning Irish Creme Caramel kiss Island Cina-buzz. which contains twice as much caffeine! I tried the Irish creme and its fabulous, with a little vanilla cream to go with it and the flavors of the coffee are rich and sweet! Fam tag!
