Jets QB Michael Vick commented that FSU's Jameis Winston is the future of the NFL. While Vick acknowledges that Winston has had some character issues in the past, he chalked that up as a learning process for a young celebrity. He says that Winston tries hard where it counts, and that is on the football field. However as the video shows, Mel Kiper is not as convinced that Winston is the future face of the NFL. He reasons that Winston simply turns the ball over way too much in the first half of games and that his late game saving drives will not translate over to the NFL. He says that it is not possible in the big league. However we have seen that Andrew Luck is exceptional at turning the ball over early but leading to comeback victories at the end of games. I'm sure that some team in the early first round will grab him due to his juicy talent. Who do you have drafting him?
