Some of my commercial photography portraits of bassist/musician Ethan Farmer (Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, and many more), were published along with an interview/article about Ethan in Bass Quarterly Magazine in Germany this past month. These were originally shot against a green screen - so I could add any background the artist desired. I was hired by Ethan and his management to help them come up with a solution that would give them numerous options. It's always nice to see your name in print - photo credit - with your photos. Regarding IP - intellectual property - how important do you feel it is to make sure your photos are accompanied by a photo credit if published? Do you feel that it is theft if someone uses your photo, especially when promoting a product or business, without permission?
