A James Milner winner in stoppage time helped Manchester City put themselves in Wednesday's draw for the FA Cup 4th Round. Sheffield Wednesday played as the better team from the game's start as Atdhe Nuhiu put away a solid pass from teammate Stevie May to put the Owls up 1-0. Manchester City did not register a shot on target in the opening hour of play before David Silva and Samir Nasri came onto the pitch before James Milner equalized. Silva and Nasri then helped link up Milner, who was playing more forward than usual in the game, for his second in stoppage time. The hosts didn enjoy more possession, shots, and corners but only managed to put five of their efforts on goal to test the Wednesday keeper.
