If it's suppose to come with it then you should contact them, and let them know.
I hope they get back to you about that slot issue. In the meantime, I don't suggest messing with carbon. You don't want fiber strands all over the place, and it might lose its waterproof quality if you sand or open it up.
They said their ran out but wana Ed to get my board here in time!! Some rad people at hi5ber.
