Snowboarding's Dead: New England
Alex Andrews, the Burton Snowboards Brand Ambassador, has been working on a project named Snowboarding's Dead. The goal of the project is to find the deep roots in snowboarding culture that really make the industry thrive. Through this search they go to local snowboarding shops and underground or smalltime snowboarding scenes that breath this life into snowboarding culture. In this part of the series Alex finds himself in the New England area, discovering amazing places to ride on the East Coast. He visited Killington in Vermont, Loon in New Hampshire, and Yawgoo in Rhode Island. These three places are thriving with culture in their respective local scenes.

This is great, really good insight on the smaller snowboarding scene. You can really see the roots of competitive snowboarding
