1. Open shelving No matter how old a kitchen is, it'll always be important that things are easily accessible. Open shelving, which puts dishes on display, was a top trend in 2014 and it will be continuing this year. 2. White cabinetry This is hands down the most popular and timeless kitchen design. 3. Stainless Steel This design reflects a bigger kitchen space and a chef's favorite. 4. Clean, white backsplash White seems like a popular trend. A slice of tile wall above your sink will sure brighten up the day! 5. An island with seating When entertainment is top priority this extra counter space to cook and mingle will wow the crowd. 6. Granite countertops Not only do they resist bacteria, but these are popular for homes in suburban areas. Don't neglect quality countertop materials!
Clean, white backsplash for me. I like my kitchen bright and clean. Also, I love that big window above the sink.
I agree with @iluvdurian Keep that backsplash clean and white. Maybe...subway tiles. I think that is timeless.
I personally like the island seating. Would be fun to have a girls night around this table while baking sweets.
I absolutely adore the open-shelving design. If only I have enough ktichenware and porcelain to display.
