Sir Bradley Wiggins, former Tour de France champion will be launching his own personal cycling team in preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympics. Wiggins is a four-time Olympic champion and decided to make the team to inspire others. He says "my message is simple: if I can do it, then so can you." This team will feature talented, young British cyclists, including: England's Andy Tennant, Jon Dibben, Steven Burke, Daniel Patten and Mike Thompson, Welshman Owain Doull, Mark Christian of the Isle of Man, and Scotland's Iain Paton. Bradley Wiggins will also be attempting the individual world hour record as part of his training for Rio. What do you think of this new team? It will only be a Olympic specific team for now, so the professional road racing will not be effected. I think it's a cool move by Wiggins to support young, talented riders.
