The Big Braided Bun
When you're torn between a braid and a bun, go for both. Here's is a favorite style. You can dress it up or down with your outfit! 1. Part your hair, then take one-inch of hair and split it into three sections. 2. Start dutch braiding by crossing the right piece of hair under the middle, then the left piece under the right. When you cross the middle section under, add in some hair. 3. Continue braiding and add hair only from the right side. Angle the braid along your hairline and over the top of your ear. Stop adding in hair when you pass your ear. Finish the braid and secure it with a small clear elastic. 4. Give your braids volume by gently pulling at the sides to widen it. 5. Gather the rest of your hair into a side ponytail near your braid. 6. Use a hair donut or sock bun to create a large side bun. 7. Tease ponytail to make it bigger before wrapping it around the padding and pinning underneath. 8. Wrap your braid around the base of the bun and pin in place. Add a spritz of hairspray to secure.

This could easily transition to a spring hairstyle if you embellish it with florals.

I'm the type of girl that doesn't like big bulky low buns because it weighs down my shoulder. I wonder if this style would look good with a regular low bun?

This is SO pretty. I was trying to figure out how I wanted to do my hair for a wedding I'm going to this weekend, and this one's definitely a runner up.
