The newly merged team Cannondale-Garmin has a new arsenal for the team going into the future. The tow formed from Garmin-Sharp and Cannondale Pro Cycling. The former Garmin-Sharp team is dropping Cervélo for Cannondale, and Cervélo is moving over to MTN-Qhubeka. The riders will be able to choose three different bikes. The Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod, the Synapes Hi-Mod and the Slice RS. The SuperSix EVO is made for smooth pavement and grand tours, making it the bike of choice. The Synapse is built for absorbing more shock, a more upright riding position, a longer wheelbase, and a more stable geometry. The Slice RS will of course be used for time trials. The riders will be able to choose whichever bike they like for each race, except the Slice of course. Although Cervélo left there are a few partners that stayed transferred over from Garmin-Sharpe. Castelli clothing and the interesting designs of POC helmets and sunglasses. FSA and Vision bars, stems and seatposts are previously from the Cannondale team. The two teams shared Fizik as a supplier for saddles and bar tape, and that won't be changing. The only new sponsor is Kinetic trainers. I personally like the design of everything, Garmin-Sharpe and Cannondale Pro Cycling were two of my favorite teams. I'm not disappointing that they dissolved into one, it's like a merging of a super team! Now only if they kept Sagan from going over to Tinkoff-Saxo :(
@troygreene84 Yeah those sunglasses are a bit odd aren't they? I doubt the majority of the team will wear that style
@TeamWaffles They kind of look like surfer glasses..I'd give them a shot!
What are your opinions on the poc helmets and sunglasses? I'm personally not a fan of the sunglasses but those helmets are pretty nifty
I bet you would, hahaha @AnthonyB
Looks great to me! How I would love to have one of those supersix evo's :)
