Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats 2 teaspoons loose chamomile tea 6 teaspoons baking soda zest from 1 large lemon 1. In a coffee grinder or nut grinder grind the oats and chamomile tea to a flour like consistency. 2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the baking soda and lemon zest. 3. Store your scrub in an airtight container. I keep my scrub in the fridge, but you probably don’t have to. To Use: 1. Remove make-up or anything else on your face with olive oil/makeup remover/cold cream/whatever you use. 2. Mix equal parts of the scrub and water and use as you would any other face wash. I use about a teaspoon of scrub and water for my face. 3. Follow up with a toner and moisturizer.
que suave y buena idea
I've taken oatmeal baths before so I'm sure I'll love this!
@danidee that would be the WORST if you used this all over your face and then puffed up. Thanks for the reminder to check first lol
@madeline Chamomile is made with daisies and other plants of the daisy family that might cause people to break out into a rash or hives, especially if they're allergic to other related plants like ragweed, chrysanthemums, etc. I mean, it DOES make a really great skin product, just test it on the inside of your wrist first before you put it on your face, so just in case you ARE allergic, your face doesn't get all red and irritated. :)
@danidee what kind of allergen reaction does chamomile gives? This is my first time hearing about it but I am also curious.
