Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day!
Every time I get a new board, it always rains! I haven't made any adjustments on the trucks, so for now, I will just go with the rule of thumb of 2 lines down the kingpin. Hopefully, I'll be able to test ride, and dial it in once it stops raining in a couple of days! My friend has a similar setup, except he used white Caliber IIs without any risers/shock pad, and he chose countersink screws. I went with a 1/8 soft shock pad just to protect my board, and panhead screws with washers to prevent myself from digging too deep. He also utilized Orangatang Keanu 66mm 80a. I went with my Orangatang Stimulus 70mm 83a with Zealous bearings, so it will sit a little higher. Was gonna go with the Stims 86a, but after feeling the textures and comparing, I decided to stick with the 83a. If I end up not liking it, I'll just sell my Orangatang Cage to get Keanus. His board has a nice low center of gravity feel to it, and I'm hoping I didn't compromise that too much by going with a shock pad and bigger wheels. Looking forward to christening this board! My Chubby (aka Girlfriend) will be benched in the closet for a while, which is sad, but I really like the way the Earthwing NLS 37" felt under my feet. My stance also suited the shorter board more. My next project is going to be the Loaded Tesseract with Atlas trucks. That won't be for a while, though!

@mpoblete how did you decide on the wheelbase with it having mounting options on the deck. It always interests me because I would of thrown That front truck right on the nose end
@crazyheart do you downhill a lot? I would move it up one more on the nose if I DH. My buddy had the same setup, and it felt really comfy/secure, so I just used the same middle wheelbase option.
@mpoblete yeah mainly downhill. I thought you maybe did cos that's a pretty cool DH setup you've got
Then I completely agree with you. You gotta throw it all the way up if you're downhilling! @crazyheart
