Dark spots or hyperpigmentation, are often caused by sun exposure, age, and acne. They are usually harmless, but you should keep an eye out for moles. Some of them may or may not be related to skin disorders. For freckles and other dark spots or sun spots you can try the following home remedies to get fade them. Milk I know this may sound weird, but washing your face with milk can help reduce redness, even out your skin tone and brighten your overall complexion. Perfect for post-sun activities or sunburns. Lemon Juice The properties of lemon naturally have bleaching effect. It can be acidic, so you should dilute it with water before applying on your face. If done right, this can reduce the appearance of dark spots and create even skin tone. Apple Cider Vinegar Another useful kitchen item. This ingredient can speed up the process of shedding off tissue and produce new skin. All you need to do is dab your dark spots with a cotton ball and leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. Red Onions Your eyes may not like this, but your skin might. The acid in onions has natural-lighting properties. Extract the juice from the onion and use a cotton ball to dab the juice onto your dark spots. Leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Garlic Try this only if you're okay with the smell of garlic. Cut a fresh fresh clove in half and rub it onto your dark spots. Leave the garlic juice on for 20 minutes and then rinse. Note: Results may vary depending on your skin healing speed. Also, ti's best not to use it daily and if your skin is sensitive.
