Very very big news again from the Toronto camp this month as they announced the signing for Italian striker Sebastian Giovinco from current Serie A leaders Juventus. This is a massive signing for the club as Giovinco has some serious talent and is in his prime. His totals include 40 goals in 189 Serie A games as well as 21 caps for the Italian senior squad. The biggest shock of all of this? He was a free transfer, which means Toronto now have two very potent strikers in Giovinco and Altidore to do the damage up front. Now, if you were to ask me who the better of the two players will be, probably Giovinco as he's usually better with his touch than Altidore who can tend to bundle over opponents for fouls. If you also were to ask me if he can take off in the MLS, then I'd say certainly. Robbie Keane's played some of the best football since arriving in the States and certainly a man of Giovinco's quality will produce the same result.
