First off, let me just say that the picture is an awesome action shot. Secondly, let's discuss some of the biggest games from the leagues this past week. FA Cup 3rd Round Replays West Ham 2(9)-(8)2 Everton A cracking, stunning, and amazing 120+ minutes of football on a night where Adrian, West Ham's goalkeeper, who admittedly never took a penalty before bar as a joke in training, scores the winning penalty to send the Hammers into the 4th Round. Spurs 4-2 Burnley Tottenham fight from 2-0 down to secure a spot in the 4th round. Premier League Burnley 2-3 Crystal Palace Alan Pardew's 100% record in charge of the Eagles remains intact as Palace fight from 2-0 down to beat fellow relegation candidates Burnley. QPR 0-2 Manchester United The Red Devils become just the third team this season to beat Rangers at home as the problems mount for Harry Redknapp's side. Swansea 0-5 Chelsea The Blues smash Swansea on the road after the Swans sold star striker Wilfried Bony to Manchester City. Newcastle 1-2 Southampton The Saints make three changes to their starting lineup due to injury, but it proves to be a solid bench as Eljero Elia scores a brace to keep Southampton 3rd. West Ham 3-0 Hull City Hull are now with only 2 wins in their last 15 after a good first half performance is wasted by a superb display from West Ham in the second half. Manchester City 0-2 Arsenal The Gunners pull to within a point of Manchester United as they vault Chelsea to a 5 point lead atop the table by downing 2nd place City. Copa Del Rey Real Sociedad 2-2 Villareal David Moyes is sent off before being banned 2 games as Villareal go through to the quarter-finals 3-2 on aggregate. Real Madrid 2-2 Atletico Madrid Ronaldo scores, but Fernando Torres's brace is enough to sink Atletico's most hated rivals 4-2 on aggregate. La Liga Sevilla 2-0 Malaga Sevilla, with a game in hand, keep their Champions League aspirations in good condition as they down 7th place Malaga.
@CitySarajevo The Chelsea game is going to be a blockbuster.
@CitySarajevo Honestly to just keep the league enticing I would agree. Mourinho did say a lack of depth can prevent his squad from the title but they are pretty healthy so it would take a few injuries to test that. In general Chelsea do lack a little depth but that's not too bad considering other teams around them are lacking performances on the pitch.
@Spudsy2061 I hope city win to keep it interesting.
City result was disappointing. Have to beat Chelsea now.
