Did you know writing daily, or regularly, in some sort of routine, can help make writing easier?
Well, easier in the sense of "it gets done," but not necessarily in the sense of "it feels fun all the time!" No matter what you do, writing will be difficult. If it wasn't, it would be writing!
Keep in mind why you are writing: what are you working for, and how can you make it part of your regular routine so that the daily grind of writing feels, in Josh's words, like an old friend rather than someone trying to bring you down?
The secret is to train yourself to write regularly. Train yourself to write often. It makes it easier to get the writing done, and to not feel the horrible sense of dread that happens sometimes when you think about writing!
