Bikes of the 2015 World Tour
The World Tour of 2015 is now upon us. I shared with you guys the team kits for 2015, but now it's time to share the real goodies. Here are the new pro team bikes! The most glaring news is that Cervelo is no longer part of the World Tour as a result of the Garmin-Sharp team merging into Cannondale-Garmin, of course they are riding Cannondales now. Also Colnago are gone with Europcar downgrading to Pro-Conti status. SRAM has decreased their presence in the World Tour all down to one team. A handful of AG2R La Mondiale riders are on the prototype electronic groupset by SRAM and we can expect the official release later this year. Campagnolo is represented by 3 teams this season: Astana, Lotto-Soudal, and Movistar). However, Shimano still dominates the World Tour with 13 teams being outfitted with their groupsets and components. Two teams, Tinkoff-Saxo and Etixx-Quick Step are not officially sponsored by Shimano and are running a Shimano/FSA combination. FSA is developing a wireless electronic groupo so these two teams may be transferring to that.
