Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is an indie game developed by The Chinese Room, the same developers behind Dear Esther. Originally announced for PC in 2012, it was revealed to be coming to the PlayStation 4 at Sony's 2013 Gamescom. The game will be running on CryEngine 3, so it is bound to be beautiful. From what we know so far, the player takes the role of a scientist at the beginning of the apocalypse. The player explores a large, open-world environment alone to progress the immersive story and ultimately find out what happened to everyone.
@TeamWaffles Me too! I'm really into watching horror games too. The playable trailer for the new Guillermo del Toro game was seriously nuts.
@danidee Exactly, looks like a really interesting, interactive story that you just have to figure out. Love games like this!
I don't actually play video games, but I can seriously spend hours watching walk-throughs of games on YouTube. I can't wait to watch runs of this one. It looks like it's got a really great storyline.
