"My neighbor June believes in Zeus" This is the opening line of the photographic series Hotel Oracle by Jason Fulford. Both humorous and full of reverence, Jason says this series is "a sustained visual meditation on the cosmos - what constitutes it, what its future might be and how to reconcile the world of the supernatural with the world of the 99-cent store. Fulford's photography is of everyday scenes and people , but it searches out clues and signs of something more. It seems that they search for the "prophetic and the numinous, yet mingling with the banal and preposterous."
This reminds me of the other book you posted, Wake by Adam Jeppesen. Kind of a mish-mosh of jumbled up images that are really interesting.
@AnthonyB I was thinking the same thing, although a much brighter tone overall
