Okay so what even causes cellulite? 1. Water retention. 2. Reduced blood flow to the fat cells. Now, how do we get rid of it!? - If you are overweight, then cut down on your weight. A loss in weight is known to significantly lower those nasty dimples from your butt and thighs. - Improve your cardio routine. Opt for a high interval intensity training! - Stretch regularly for at least 20 minutes a day. - Keep your stress away. Stress triggers the formation of cortisol. The higher the levels of cortisol, the lower the ability of your body to burn fat. - Drink green tea to pep up metabolism. - Opt for massages - these help in stimulating blood flow in the affected area. - Keep yourself hydrated. Drink 2 liters of water a day. - Chuck out sugary foods, starchy carbs, unhealthy fats, and instant snacks. Instead, eat lean protein, cottage cheese, skimmed milk, honey, fruits, and veggies. - Drink lemon juice daily. - Sleep deep for 6 to 8 hours a day. - Do not sit for long hours anywhere. If you are a working woman, take a 10 minute break and stretch on the office desk with office yoga asanas.
A nice massage, then some Green Tea, that sounds good to me!
honestly can say the green tea and massages do indeed help, I've seen results within a few weeks now if I apply work out sessions I may see toned smooth thighs!
I just took a walk around the office after reading this lol!
Or if you win the lottery, a Brazilian body sculpt would work too. In the meantime, I'll follow @caricakes advice and not sit all day.
Ugh luckily this isn't something I have to worry about yet but I worry :(
