At 8 o’clock, what you do will define who you are in this life
Read something inspirational on my friend's blog so I want to share her post with everyone on Vingle :) ------------------------------------------------------------------- There are two kinds of people in this world: one work for money then spend money on what they like; one work for what they like and earn money from what they love. Not a lot of us are in the second category. And only when we are in the second category, we feel the happiest and the most successful. At 8 o’clock, what you do will define who you are in this life. Every night after work and dinner, you have about 2 personal hours, or leisure time from 8pm to 10pm. Some people watch tv, some party, some spend time with their loved ones, some eat more, some play game, some study, some work. Your life is a combination of nights doing random things but really, when will you discover your interests, your talent, and your passionate hobbies from those little activities? If you spend 2 hours each night for a hobby or whatever your heart is interesting in and stick with it, after five or ten years you will know who you are in this life simply because in those 2 hours you demonstrate your best in what you know and love. Read more books: literature, skills or even history books, and you will process the invaluable wealth of mind. If you practice translating, you will become very experienced and dedicated. If you love building models, graphic design, cooking, travelling, photography, there will never be a moment of “I’m too bored”. The scariest thing is when people say they spend twenty four hours to focus on one thing, either to love, to live or to work. Because if you don’t stop and think and spend time to discover your true self, I’m afraid you only have the beautiful appearance and impressive resume but not identity and you can never stand out from the crowd that surrounds us every day.
