Great writing by Donald Miller from the book Blue Like Jazz: Non-Religious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality. I'm really liking it so far and the deep questions that he asks himself. If our lives are filled with light, then time wouldn't matter...or at least death wouldn't be dreadful. Sometimes I feel caged and pressured by time. It's hard to imagine planning your life out without considering at least a time-frame. I wonder if there will ever be a day when I wake up and I am fully present...thinking of nothing but that moment and how to live it fully. A girl can dream.
I know a book related to faith might be a turn-off for some, but this one is actually pretty interesting.
