Liverpool and West Ham will entertain the masses at Anfield today with the Reds hoping to continue their recover up the table.
Daniel Sturridge is set to make his return after a 5 month's absence while Liverpool are still without the services of Mamadou Sakho.
West Ham's Cheikhou Kouyate could be available following Senegal's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations while Carl Jenkinson, Alex Song, and James Tomkins should be available for selections following their minor injuries.
West Ham have not won at Anfield since 1961, a record they will have to end in order to do the double over the Reds this season. Hammers manager Sam Allardyce has also never won at Anfield and West Ham have yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season. Liverpool on the other hand come into the game unbeaten in their last 6 league games.
While I'd love to see West Ham beat the Reds and keep their European hopes alive, Liverpool are the bogey team at Anfield and I don't see that changing.
Sakho scores for West Ham.
