This trailer shows the film "A Year on the Ice" which documents the life of those that spend one year (or, in many cases, more!) of their lives in Antarctica. Once the last plane leaves for the winter, the community and life there is all that's left.
This is really interesting: while I imagined what it might be like to go to Antarctica (cold) I never imagined what it would be like to live there for an extended period of time, such as shown here. I really want to see the full film to really get an idea of what it would be like, though I don't think the full feeling of that kind of isolation and life could really be felt until personally experienced.
