Vaseline: From Healing to Grooming
In addition, to healing minor cuts and chapped skin, this multipurpose jelly has other uses.
Here are 4 Vaseline beauty tricks for hair:
1. Defining Lashes
Need a cheap way to get shiny, thicker-looking lashes without mascara? According to @sophiamor, applying Vaseline to the area makes lashes look longer and more voluminous. Some people also claimed it help them grow faster.
2. Taming brows
If you have thick and bushy brows you can smooth Vaseline over it to keep them in place all day. Dab the pad of your ring finger in the jar, rub two fingertips together to distribute the formula, and then smooth it over your arches.
3. Preventing hair dye stains on your forehead
Slick some dabs of Vaseline along your hairline before your getting your hair dye and the air color will stain the jelly, not your skin.
4. Hiding split ends
Need a way to hide split ends before your next trim? Just rub a dab of Vaseline on the tips of your hair to fix it. Use a minimal amount to avoid a greasy mess.

If you put a very thin layer of it around your eyes, and on frown lines, and sleep like that every night, it restores the natural elasticity of your skin. It also keeps your skin soft!

@CandieMachacek I'll try it tonight! How long does it take to see the results? I'm curious because if it's better than eye cream I'll be using this method! :)

@HairConfetti I definitely noticed the softness the very next morning! I have a twin sister, and she didn't believe me when I told her to do this. We did NOT get lucky and have good skin through genetics! LOL! Anyway, after about 3 days I noticed that the bags under my eyes had not just gone down, but VANISHED!! Also my skin looks "young", vibrant even. I never cover it up with liquid foundation, or concealer s. I lightly apply blush every now and then if I want to get fancy! I do not have the slightest wrinkle anywhere on my face. My twin on the other hand, has crows feet, and laugh lines. She NOW uses Vaseline religiously! I've started using it on my legs after shaving, and have noticed that I'm not getting a razor rash, nor have I had an ingrown hair in the two months that I've been trying this. I'm going to start experimenting with it to see if it helps prolonged my tan. I'll keep you updated!

It's also less abrasive than the harsh chemicals in creams and face washes. I use (this may sound gross) Summers Eve none scented, sensitive skin formula feminine was, as my face wash. Think about it.... If it doesn't irritate your specials, then it won't irritate your face that's MUCH tougher! LOL!
