Combat Acne with Aspirin Face Mask
Using aspirin as face mask is not new. This method has been around for years and it proves to be a cheap and effective way to tone down inflamed acne. How It Works:
Aspirin is made from salicylic acid also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA). BHA is an exfoliant that has anti-inflammatory properties. It removes the dead skin cells off and allowing regrowth of new skin on the epidermis. In addition, studies have shown BHA improves wrinkles, skin discoloration, photodamaged skin and acne. Many skin care product that is marketed to fight acne has this property.

There are many variations of this mask out there. If you are unsure of which one to try, I've broken down the different types and listed the instruction for each.

Note: If you use any of the method make sure you apply sunscreen at least SPF 30+ during the day to avoid any sun damages! BHA causes your skin to be 50% more sensitive to the sun, so please don't irritate your skin by avoiding this crucial step.

I've only used the aspirin honey method and my face naturally becomes brighten after one treatment. I don't do it too often. Just once a week.
I never struggled with acne but the yogurt aspirin mask sounds like relaxing face mask!
You say this is not new, but it is to me. Sounds kinda funky to me. However, since it's been proved by others, I may try the yogurt mask next time I get an irritated skin.
@iluvdurian31 The honey aspirin mask is also a good choice for irritated skin because honey has moisturizing and anti-bacterial properties.
