I love a good classic gin martini. Even better, is when it comes with a little olive juice, which makes it dirty. It's also the perfect liquid lunch bridging Winter and Spring, almost effortlessly.
Dirty Martini Recipe
2 1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/4-1/2 oz olive juice (to taste)
olive(s) for garnish
If you make it
1. Pour ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice
2. Stir
3. Strain into chilled martini glass
4. Garnish
If you're ordering a Dirty Martini, you've got to do it right. You want to go for something chic, timeless and on-trend, which is possible by taking timeless silhouettes and fragrances and then pairing it with trending accessories. Not every girl can do this with success. You've got to really own it.
What you wear
Tori Burch ethnic print Winter/Spring 2015 (Show room pricing)

Gucci oversize square-frame horsebit sunglasses 2015 ($365)
*Cartier 107-carat canary diamond brooch (not for sale)
Marc Jacobs "Daisy" fragrance ($76)

*Since this Cartier stunner isn't available to the sticky-finger masses, you're going to have to improvise. Which means, donning a statement piece that doesn't look cheap. Can you handle that?
