I've been practicing my slides and I can do a Coleman without grabbing rail but I can't do it toeside as easily. And haven't tried to do standies yet but any tips and pointers would be helpful.
Push up slides are pretty easy you basically just fall on to your hands while kicking your board out
duct tape your toes together and put a banana in your favorite ear
so, for standies: throw your weight and your arms in the direction you want to spin as you use the front tail of your board as a pivot point for the back. This is more of an icing/breaking traction slide than a legit slide, but it'll help to get you comfy. Really though, moving your arms in the direction you want to go is super important, as is resetting them when your board is pointing the way you want to go again.
