Austin Marathon Hyvon Ngetich Crawling to Finish
English is not my native language, so it was natural for me to question some of the English saying I was supposed to learn. One of the strangest sayings I never really understood was:
I bit off more than I can chew
Maybe its just me, but when I bite something, I definitely can chew it lol. The opposite has never been the case. I guess the reason that I bring this up now, though, is because this video of this marathon runner crawling to the finish line.

If you have ever thought that you started something that was over your head, remember how Hyvon Ngetich literally crawled in front of thousands of people to make sure she reached her goal. All it took was a little support, and a will that would just not be denied.

The expression I bite off more than I could chew means the person took more on then they are able to handle.
