Woke up to this today
So I have 2 facebook pages. The page you see in the pic is my first original facebook. I have friends/family/strangers/kpop friends on that page so I post a mix of everything. I would post nothing but kpop on there ^^ no one said anything to me but I had a feeling that I was annoying people so I made a second page for just my kpop friends..so now I barely get on my 1st page. if I do I post new pictures, etc. So the woman in the pic is my mother ^^ and she posted this like an hour ago. I'm somewhat offended but at the same time its funny cause I know she is playing. But, the point is that my mom is like the least supportive person when it comes to kpop she always has something to say when she hears it and she is very discouraging with my youtube channel and my trip to Korea next year v.v. its not just my mom but a few of my non kpop friends have said "you are a disgrace to the black community" am I really? I guess I don't know how to "act black" ^_-. ok this is the end of my rant.

I feel you. My parents are worse, they can be very close-minded sometimes. Don't let these kinds of comments get to you, keep doing your thing! :)

My dad is probably the most small minded when it comes to my love of Asian music and culture, but yes we've all got your back@KpopJunkiesTV :)

I used to compare it to the generation that didn't like the young kids listening to rock and roll, but if you think about it at least rock and roll was in a language they could understand! I feel like parents are confused and frustrated because not only is it a music scene they know nothing about, but its something they totally can't understand! I'm glad your mom is at least playful about it, but I know the comments my parents make sometimes hurts me as well :/

My sister always gives me a hard time when it comes to Korean things. I think it is hard for some people to relate, especially if they are not the type of person who gets really enthusiastic about something they love. (My sister has never really been the type to become a 'fan' of anything, so whenever she sees me get really into something, she rolls her eyes and thinks I'm weird.)
