Nearly four years later and I have finally come full circle when it comes to Carly Rae Jepsen. I love Call Me Maybe, then I wanted to throw my car speakers out the window whenever it came on the radio. I tolerated it when I heard it a few years later, and now I'm back to jamming to it. It's just so catchy.
So, I got pretty pumped to hear that Carly Rae Jepsen is coming back soon with the help of one of my favorite song writers of the day: Jack Antonoff. I've already posted about his project group Bleachers, and I know you have heard some of his work. (Does Taylor Swift's Out of the Woods or I Wish You Would ring a bell?)
To make it even better she'll be working with Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij who not only produced two killer Vamp Weekend albums, but also worked on Charlie XCX's Sucker album.
Aaaaand now photos have been released showing Carly dancing alongside Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber for her new music video for "I Really Like You" that is going to come out this March.
Am I the only one excited for some semi-crappy pop song to get stuck in my head for decades?
