Kekkon Shinai Ep 6 Recap
Ongoing recap :) Kudo found out from Haruko that Chiharu came by and left without saying anything. Chiharu talked about marriage with her coworker again. Looks like the topic for this ep is about what it means to have and raise children. Chiharu's friend asked her to babysit her son for one day. Chiharu is worried if Haruko will be ok with kids. Chiharu asked her sister if the kid can stay at their house but the sister didn't like the idea. Haruko agreed to let the kid stay for a year. It's funny that she wanted to treat the 5 year-old kid to coffee and take him around on her motorcycle LOL. Haruko wanted to invite Kudo over to help out but Chiharu didn't want him to come. Haruko sensed things didn't work out for those two. Kudo remembered his talk with Kouno. Kouno said she believes in him and asked him to go abroad with her. Chiharu bought some toys for the kids. 2 basket full of toys!! She looks like she'll be a good mom. The kid came but he looked so down. I wonder where they found such a cute kid. He looks mixed. The professor came to the flower shop to see Haruko again. To his disappointment, his student interrupted again. Haruko let the girl to take care of it. Chiharu took the boy to the park but she was so out of energy. I think Kudo will appear soon out of nowhere haha. Chiharu calls Haruko asking her to come back as soon as she finishes work. Kudo showed up at the door saying Haruko asked him for help. Kudo brought a train as present for the kid. Looks like Kudo still hasn't realized that Chiharu saw the painting. Kudo and the kid started playing while Chiharu makes dinner. They look like a perfect family! The kid suddenly asks if the two of them are going out which make them both choke haha!! Chiharu denies it profusely while Kudo just smiles. The kid got something into his nose and the two of them got flustered and ran around like young parents. When they went to the hospital, the doctor and nurse mistook them as the kid's parents. They really look great together >__<. Hope they'll end up together in the end. Kudo helped washing the dishes. Perfect husband! Chiharu said Haruko is totally different when it comes to kids and she's super sweet to them. Chiharu took the boy back to her parents' house. It looks like the reason the sister's husband has been coming back late because of work not because he has an affair. The professor came to the flower shop again but got interrupted once again. Poor him haha. Chiharu's friend came to pick the kid up. Chiharu felt lonely saying goodbye to the kid. She went to the park and saw Kudo drinking by himself. They sat down and talked. Chiharu asked him Kudo ever thought about having kids. They didn't talk much and just enjoyed drinking together. Chiharu went home and saw the toys. She's reminded of the boy again. Chiharu told Haruko she wanted to have kids after all. But if she keeps going like this maybe life will be over. Haruko says well that's life. Haruko told Chiharu she has a kid!?!?! Chiharu got a call from her friend who said her son wanted to hear Chiharu's voice before going to sleep. Aww I would cry if I were her :(( Kouno showed up giving Kudo airplane ticket to Paris and said she's serious, asking him to come with her. Kudo is in deep thought starring at the airplane. Ep 7 Preview Kouno came to see Chiharu and told her she wanted to go to Paris with Kudo. Chiharu told Kudo to go to Paris. What sorta typical situation is this? Haruko's old boss said he decided to divorce his wife. Hmm I don't think Haruko will get back together with him. Anyone knows how long this drama is?
Haruko's Apartment Part 1
Just love Haruko's apartment in Kekkon Shinai so much. The style is natural + vintage. Would definitely love living in a place like this. Sometimes I feel I watch this drama only to look at the house lol

Just started watching this recently and I can say it's gonna be the best drama this season! Starring Amami Yuki and Kanno Miho, the 2 best actresses in J-entertainment along with Tamaki Hiroshi (from Nodame Cantbile). Highly recommended! Synopsis According to a national census, the number of unmarried women between the age of 30 to 40 has been increasing and is now at the highest. Compared to 10 years ago, the rate of unmarried women have increased by 6.7% and 8.5% for woman in their early 30’s and late 30’s, respectively. Why are they not getting married? The women appearing in this drama are unmarried for various reasons including, they have high expectations, are not able to be themselves in front of men, become attracted to losers, think being single is much more easier, or they think men are unreliable. They’re almost about to lose all hope, however, it’s not that they don’t want to get married, it’s just...things just don’t work out, they don’t know if they’re getting married for themselves or to please others, or they question whether there really is a reason to get married. So I wanted to do this game that was created by @kpopandkimchi because it looked fun!!! Here is my list of my favorite K-Drama kiss scenes!!! (Note: The pic above is from Fabulous Boys, the Taiwanese version of You're Beautiful.) 1. Playful Kiss (Korean Version) starring Jung So-min and Kim Hyun-joong The way he teases her about forgetting him is so cute. 2. Mischievous Kiss (Japanese Version) starring Honoka Miki and Yuki Kurukawa I love this one...... 3. Love Rain starring Jung Ha Na and Jang Keun-suk I fangirled so hard when I saw this scene. I must have replayed it at least a dozen times. 4. Coffee Prince starring Yoon Eun-hye and Gong Yoo Probably one of the sexiest kiss scenes I have seen yet..... 5. Bride Of The Century starring Yung Jin-sung and Lee Hung-gi One of the most sensual kiss scenes I have seen involving Hong-gi. 6. Princess Hours starring Yoon Eun-hye and Ju Ji-hoon Seeing two people coming to terms that they are absolutely in love with each other is enough to make anyone swoon. 7. Flower Boy Next Door starring Park Shin-hye and Yoon Shi-yoon I just love Park Shin-hye in this k-drama and this scene when he returns to her is so sweet. So there you have it. [RECAP] Kekkon Shinai Ep 5
This is not exactly as detailed as somnia's recap but more like my own review of this week's ep. I think I'm liking this drama more and more now. This week's ep seems to focus a lot on Kudo and Chiharu. Chiharu starts to develop feeling for Kudo. The topic of this week seems to be falling in love at 30's. Mariko, Chiharu's colleague, told her at 30's you have to look for the "marriageable" love which means if the guy doesn't meet the qualification then you shouldn't bother dating him because women at the age of 30's should date guys who are potential marriage candidates. I guess that's the reality. There are some truth in what she said. This drama seems to be really popular with ladies in early 30's. A lot of people have been sending messages to the broadcasting station, mostly women, saying the drama really touched them. Kudo and the part-timer girl went to Haruko's place and all 4 of them had lunch. Kudo and Chiharu look just like a couple. I definitely love the chemistry between them. Chiharu went to the flower shop and met Kouno. She sensed something going on between Kouno and Kudo. The professor seems to have a crush on Haruko. I think he's a bit too old for her? He's like over 55 and she's 44, maybe not a bad combination? It's funny that he got interrupted by the part-timer girl who is his student. But Haruko is still hung up on her boss. Haruko and Chiharu went to a garden restaurant because she designed the place and met her boss who went with his family! Haruko noticed them but the boss didn't. His wife seemed to know what's going on. Women's intuition is scary. Haruko left leaving Chiharu and the wife chased after her. She didn't say anything mean but her words have hidden meaning. Looks like she knows they had an affair. Chiharu got drunk and went to the park. She saw Kudo sitting at their usual bench sulking. Kudo told her about the painting he left at Sawai (the stuck-up gallery owner) and Chiharu said let's go get it back. They went to get back the painting and Kudo thanked her for insisting on getting it back. They are gonna be my main OTP for this drama! Looks like he starts to fall for her as well The next morning, Chiharu baked some desserts and went to visit her mother in the hospital. I really like their conversation. Chiharu asked her mom what she was doing when she was 35 and she said she was raising Chiharu who was in elementary school. Chiharu's mom said she kinda envied of Chiharu who is free to explore many possibilities in life and has nothing to stop her from doing so. Chiharu went to give Kudo some desserts as well and saw him sleeping. Sleeping Prince! She got curious about the painting and opened it. It was a portrait of Kouno that he drew in 2002! Now I wonder if the reason Kudo distanced himself from Kouno is because he isn't successful as she is? Next ep Kouno invites Kudo to go somewhere with her.

Fictional Characters I'd Totally Date
I just saw a card posted by @KalynHay about wishing boys from Anime were IRL boys too. It got me thinking about fictional characters I would LOVE to come to life. 1. Poe from Star Wars I know, I know, he's meant to be with Finn, but come on he seems like such an awesome, chill guy who happens to be handsome and smart and a badass. What's not to love? 2. Peeta from The Hunger Games Yo, he'll make you bread 24/7. He's honest and kind and pretty open with his feelings (which in the long run is really important for a relationship). But really I'm all about the bread. 3. Shuichi Nakatsu from Hana Kimi If you haven't seen the Japanese drama Hana Kimi, you should think about changing that stat. This guy is the second lead, totally open to falling in love with the main lead regardless of their gender and he's funny as hell. Seems like a totally hilarious, chill guy! 4. Tombo from Kiki's Delivery Service Alright so he's a little clumsy and annoying at first but he's genuinely so intersted in Kiki and flying. And he's just so ENTHUSIASTIC. Enthusiasm for something is a big win for me, being passionate and knowledgable about one thing is super cool. Who are some fictional characters YOU'D totally date?!
