5 Small Things That Mean "I Love You"
There are so many ways to say I love you. And some of them barely take any effort at all :) I love little acts of kindness that remind me that somebody really does love me and that I can count on them to be there :)
So here's a few small ways to say I love you to that special someone....which will you try?

1. They buy snacks specifically for you.

I love, love, love Twizzlers. But they're totally not something I'll buy for myself. When someone knows enough to keep a bag ready for the next movie night, I know I've found someone worth my time!

2. They listen to your meaningless ranting, or overdramatic gossip.

Everybody does it. We get worked up about something, and then go on and on about it for hours. It'd be easy as a S.O to get bored of this and tell them to stop talking about it allready. But when they love you, that's not the case: they keep listening, know when to offer advice, and know when to just let you get it all out!

3. They Surprise You With (insert something you like here).

It's not just about having your favorite snacks, but about taking the time to actually come out and surprise you with something. Maybe they bring you a cup of coffee when you're running around at lunch. Maybe they bought you tickets to that concert. Maybe they just made you a handmade card or post it note to cheer you up. It doesn't have to cost alot: it says a lot more in the LOVE it gives!

4. They Wake Up Early With You (or not).

Maybe you usually get up and leave an hour before your partner, but they make it a pretty regular thing to get up with you anyways and spend it with you. Or, if you've made it clear that you like having some alone time in the morning, they respect that and stay out of your way when you need the space. It's a give and take you need to figure out, but if they get it right, then they love you!

5. They Put Their Phone Down

Your partner might still be a phone addict and on it all the time or sharing videos with you all the time, but when it's important or when you're spending alone time together, you don't feel like they're ignoring you for their phone (unless it's an emergency!) Of course, every relationships is different, and maybe yours allows for more phone usage, but when you're having an intimate dinner, you don't need to be texting you BFF the whole time! If they've got their eyes on you and not their screen, you know they love you.

#4 always makes me feel loved. It's nice to be suffering through an early morning with another person.
#5 is like my pet peeve. If we're spending quality time or at dinner in a conversation then the phone needs to go away.
@beywatch Yes exactly!!! I like just a silent cup of coffee together :) @Spudsy2061 Exactly!! It's different if you're just chilling at home, but dont' act like the other person isn't worth your time.
