After a crazy day in the Champions League, here's a look at the news and rumours making headlines today.
1. Liverpool and PSG are interested in Roma's Miralem Pjanic. (Source: http://www.calciomercato.it/news/321590/calciomercato-roma-3.html)
2. Palermo's Paulo Dybala is attracting a lot of high suitors, including Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester United. (Source: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3276/serie-a/2015/03/10/9684072/dybala-will-be-as-good-as-messi-zamparini?ICID=HP_BN_7)
3. Newcastle are planning on a bid for Victor Camarasa, currently of Levante. (Source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-eye-summer-transfer-midfielder-5307219?)
4. Barcelona are hoping to buy Porto's Danilo as a replacement to Dani Alves. (Source: http://www.espnfc.us/story/2340395/porto-defender-danilo-has-agreed-real-madrid-move-says-barcelona-transfer-advisor-charly-rexach)
5. It's come to light that Vincent Kompany was dropped in the game against Leicester after a dressing-room bust-up with Fernandinho over their loss to Liverpool. (Source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-citys-vincent-kompany-was-5307437)
My Thoughts:
1. Pjanic is very good, so it's no wonder the interest is high but I think he'd sooner work out at PSG than Liverpool.
2. Dybala has been running riot on Serie A. Would be a good fit in a lot of places but I can imagine him at either Barcelona or Juventus.
3. Camarasa is incredibly under-rated. Could fit right into the Newcastle squad if they keep the key pieces around them.
4. Danilo's hotly wanted as past Rumour Mills have toted him at. I honestly don't know where he'll end up.
5. Surprised to see this from Kompany but he's been poor in form and it just might be too much for him at the moment. He can bounce back strong but it's too late in terms of this season.
@Spudsy2061 Here's hoping it's not another draw.
@Spudsy2061 True. We'll only have to wait and see until this Saturday.
@Spudsy2061 But to fight another teammate?
@CitySarajevo Bit harsh. He hasn't been the sole reason but still, he's a reason city have more losses than they should this season.
Can see Man United swiping Dybala.
