News broke yesterday that West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt has been charged by the FA for an alleged incident in the tunnel after their 2-0 loss to Aston Villa in the FA Cup 6th Round this past weekend. The FA has said that the players “used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behavior towards a match official”. It is not known what was actually said by the 30 year old, or if there are any witnesses that can confirm or deny the words used, but this could see the striker banned for a game in light of West Brom’s current fight against relegation.

Brunt has until 13:00 on Wednesday to respond to the charges.

@Spudsy2061 Stupid of him.
@GermanyBumbleBee The FA do seem to be taking stuff to the farthest sometimes. @CitySarajevo I think so too.
My frustration at the English game is summed by stuff like this.
Think he'll be banned a game.
