It's nice to know people... I have worked the annual NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show - the largest private industry trade show in North America - actually it's the second largest in the world each year behind the Musikmesse Show in Germany - I've gone to the show as a videographer/photographer and I've been fortunate enough to work with several top guitar industry companies such as Jim Dunlop, EMG, and I've attended as the photo editor for Bass Frontiers Magazine (Nashville, TN). The pickups in the guitar featured in this video are prototypes. EMG released them at the 2013 NAMM Show. This set was sent to me and I installed them in August of 2012. That same month my good friend (we attended film school together), professional guitarist/musician Cam Gorman stopped by my office to try these new pickups out. My ARC6-RW - the electric guitar in the video - is a special custom built guitar. It features a set-neck construction using a 3-piece solid South American Rosewood neck. This wood is very hard to get your hands on legally... and when you do find some, it's super, super expensive. My guitar is one of 7 in the world with this construction. Alas I've decided to part ways with it, special neck and pickups and all... because I rarely play it (I'm a bassist) and I need to replace some camera equipment. I've owned this guitar for several years... it's amazing. I hope the next owner makes beautiful music with it!
