I think you all need to know that while you're eating your breakfast cereal, studying for your exams, cleaning your cat's liter box, or going to the mall, Will Ferrell will be playing every outfield position, and he'll be doing it while suiting up for 10 different Major League Baseball teams. All in just one day. Don't believe me?
Just check him out on the official active roster for the Oakland A's, where he took over as shortstop this morning:
Not even halfway into the game, Will was 'traded' to the opposing team, the Seattle Mariners, where he played second baseman.
(And from the looks of his assistants, it looks like he'll be traded to quite a few different teams today.)
Well, what is this for?
Will's spring training antics are a part of a new HBO special from Funny Or Die in partnership with Major League Baseball to support the fight against cancer. You can follow his 'trades' online through the hashtag #FerrellTakesTheField on Twitter, or through his confirmed schedule on the official MLB website.
