Once upon a time, Daredevil's life outside of comic books was comprised of a horrible Ben Affleck movie that even the New York Times were calling "second-rate". Today, however, 'Old Hornhead' is back and better than ever in the following Netflix series, 'Marvel's Daredevil'.
Starring 'Boardwalk Empire' star Charlie Cox as the title role, the series' official Netflix description reads: "It’s time to let the devil out. Marvel’s Daredevil is here to clean up the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Lawyer by day, street-level hero by night, Matt Murdock is on a mission to make his city a better place against an underground terror within the city."
All constant wordplays about him being blind aside, I think this trailer makes the series look really, really promising. Marvel should make more shows out of their comic heroes as opposed to doing movies over and over again. I think that having a longer plot to explore will certainly add a lot more depth to the storyline.
How about you? What do you guys think? Will you watch?
I am excited for this one. Hoping it'll be much better than previous atempts, that's for sure
I love Boardwalk Empire! It'll be cool seeing Charlie play a different role.
