A military platoon was live firing 120mm white phosphorus rounds when one of the rounds misfired and landed 3 feet in front of them. As you can expect, the entire platoon freaked out and ran for their lives.
As an incendiary weapon, white phosphorus burns fiercely and can ignite cloth, fuel, ammunition and other combustibles.
The best thing to come out of this video is that scream, "mis-fi-aaaahhhhhhhhh!!"

Fortunately for them the fuse wouldn't have been armed yet. That's not to say that it wouldn't have puckered me up. Had the same thing happen to me with a 60mm mortar once, scares the piss out of you.
